SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Athlete programs combine sport-specific exercises, general strength, agility drills, injury prevention, speed, power, reaction and coordination to athletes of all levels, needs and goals.

INTRODUCTION TO FITNESS

Clients will be introduced to fitness and help take their first steps to a healthier lifestyle. This program teaches essential movement patterns, foundational exercise, gradual progression and building confidence.

CORRECTIONAL EXERCISE

Correctional programs aim to restore proper movement patterns, reducing pain, and preventing further injury. Specialized rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries are offered as needed.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Youth programs are designed to foster a love for physical activity, promote healthy habits, and boost self-confidence. Children focus on fundamentals such as balance, coordination, strength and flexibility.

Advanced Programing

If you are someone that has experienced plateaus in the gym or in sport, this is the program for you. This provides result- driven strategies while teaching efficiency in training and recovery, boosting metabolism and renewing motivation.

Cory DeSimone is the owner of CD Strength and Fitness, Inc., holding a Bachelor’s in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Performance from Springfield College. With over a decade of training experience and starting his business in 2020, Cory has built a career rooted in passion, dedication, and a commitment to helping others achieve their goals. Cory’s own journey from an underdeveloped high school athlete to a collegiate football player stresses his belief in hard work, discipline, and the value of investing in oneself. This personal transformation drives his devotion to guiding others toward their ambitions. Cory is driven by the love for setting goals, achieving them, and discovering new levels of potential. He specializes in a broad range of training areas, including sports performance, corrective exercise, youth development, and advanced training techniques. His versatile approach ensures he meets clients wherever they are in their fitness journey, whether they are beginners, seasoned athletes, seniors, or individuals seeking lifestyle changes. Cory’s training philosophy emphasizes personalization and progression, using his expertise to design programs tailored to each client’s unique needs. He is a firm believer in total- body functional fitness and emphasizes the seven functional movement patterns. His goal is to make fitness not only effective but enjoyable while fostering an environment of trust and growth. What sets Cory apart is his genuine care for his clients and his ability to inspire lasting change. He takes pride in teaching proper form and programming to youth and beginners, helping them develop habits that support long-term success. He has prepared numerous student athletes through their transitions from middle school, high school, college and professional levels. Based out of Impact Performance Training 2, Cory offers both in-person and virtual sessions, providing flexible options for clients of all abilities and schedules. He lives by his motto, “Never Accept Being Average,” which reflects his no-excuses mindset to helping clients break through barriers to achieve their best selves.
